I remember how people didn't stop to look at me on the street,
after you left.
And I remember thinking how weird it was,
that other people didn't know the world had stopped spinning on it's axis.
Didn't seem to care how extreme everything got, how harsh the weather,
how excruciating the pop music, how stupid the driving.
They didn't stay home in hoards or even seem to know where to point the finger
of blame.
Just walked around as if nothing had happened.
